Dr Kristine El-Atem joins the Endodontic Group in February 2025 after practising as an endodontist in Melbourne and Hobart for two years. She is delighted to be returning to Brisbane, where she started her career in the dental profession.

Kristine graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 2012 with Dean’s commendations. She was awarded the Vardiman Prize and the Owen Pearn Memorial Prizes for the program’s highest academic and clinical achievement. She also attained her Master of Philosophy in oral cancer research in 2014 at the University of Queensland.

Before moving to Melbourne to undertake her specialist training, Kristine worked in private practice in Brisbane for seven years. She completed her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Melbourne in 2022 and is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology and the Australian Dental Association.

Kristine is passionate about ensuring a comfortable experience for her patients and providing the highest quality treatment while helping her patients retain their natural teeth. When away from the microscope, Kristine enjoys time with her husband, Nathan, and two young boys, Frederick and Theodore. She can be found building tall LEGO towers and moving sand around with toy construction vehicles.
